From a Sydney garage to the big apple, Tiliter is growing in the USA, which means more boots on the ground! We’re growing our partnership with trusted resellers including Retail Data Systems. And we’re welcoming more large US retailers joining those already seeing the benefits of Tiliter’s advanced computer vision products at the checkout.
We currently have offices on the East and West Coast, plus a small presence in Central America. These teams provide service and support to our retail customers in North America, and make sure stateside operations are running smoothly. Our new team members bring a range of expertise and experience to the Tiliter family. So, we’re thrilled to offer a big Aussie welcome and g’day to Jim, Traci and Blake!
Traci Smith – Operations Manager USA
Traci is originally from Wyoming — home to Yellowstone National Park. She moved to Rochester, New York, where she attended the Rochester Institute of Technology and stayed there after graduation.
Traci’s background is primarily in the printing industry. Pre-pandemic, she worked for Digimarc as a subject matter expert in digital watermarks and barcode printing. This is where she got her start in the retail industry, helping her customers incorporate digital watermarks into their packaging and integrating Digimarc technology into retail scales, POS scanners and POS applications.
Traci’s two kids and dog keep her busy. She’s a kickboxing fanatic and a big fan of all things Australian, so we can’t wait to see her at Tiliter HQ when travel restrictions allow.
Traci is very excited to start working at Tiliter. Apart from being a big computer vision fan, she is excited by its benefits in the retail sector and is looking forward to introducing Tiliter to her many contacts in the industry. Welcome to Tiliter Traci!
Jim Paro – Customer Success Representative
Jim was born and raised in Rochester, home to Tiliter’s US head office. Coming from XEROX, one of Rochester’s oldest companies, Jim’s expertise is in sales and AI. He has in-depth experience with printing supply and software products, focusing on building strong relationships and keeping a customer-centric approach.
A two-year-old Australian shepherd/border collie named Appollo keeps Jim on his toes when he’s not keeping his customers happy.
Jim is thrilled to be working with artificial intelligence and is happy to be a part of Tiliter’s journey to bring computer vision to the world! We’re glad to have you, Jim.
Blake Durand – Data Technician
Blake joins the team in Thousand Oaks, sunny California, as our newest Data Technician. A west-coast native, Blake, took a small detour to the mid-west, where he earned his degree in Marketing from Boise State University in Idaho.
Blake is a keen hiker and photographer, taking his camera on his outdoor adventures. And he enjoys getting creative with his 3D printer. He likes finding the balance between getting his hands dirty and playing with new technology.
The AI tech that powers Tiliter had Blake hooked from the start. Computer vision and AI technology have endless possibilities for new business ideas in the future, and he’s delighted to be part of a team that’s making it happen now.
In Blake’s own words, “Touchless product verification systems in supermarkets are the next big thing, and I’m excited to see this technology implemented into my local markets!”. We couldn’t agree more, Blake — good to have you onboard!
